Liberty Rides to Sturgis: Day 6 - Freedom Celebration Ride
As the day time traffic at the Buffalo Chip can be a little quiet, we decided to venture on to Spearfish to get back out on our motorcycles and support the Veterans and the Freedom Celebration Ride where Liberty Sport was also one of the ride sponsors. It was a short windy ride – luckily nothing my Rider Collection Piston frames couldn’t handle – and a nice start to the day to have some fresh air in our faces. We arrived early so we could get some coffee and have a brief moment before we jumped into our day. Before we knew it, it was time to go meet the Veteran Riders and show our Liberty support.

August 8th - 10th, 2016
What a busy few days it has been! Interesting trying to work out the lay of the land here in Sturgis. Last year was the 75th anniversary and the crowd has apparently thinned since then. To me it still seems like a mass of people and more bikes than I have ever seen, but to be honest I can't even imagine what it was like with 50% more people! The weather has definitely played a role here with extreme heat, wind and almost daily rain storms. Impressive lightning too!

Day 2: August 7th, 2016
It was a long but fun day 2 on the route to Sturgis with the VCR crew. We woke up to an overcast and foggy humid morning. After a quick check of the weather, it didn't seem like rain so we kept our fingers crossed for the sunshine to break through the clouds soon.

Day 1: August 6th, 2016
We met the VCR crew at their Denver hotel and were beyond excited! Seeing all the beautiful Indian motorcycles and watching the veterans file out towards them only added to my nerves and excitement as we prepared to join them for their final leg of their journey of motorcycle therapy to Sturgis.
